How to bid at SBT Online Auction

Bid

  1. SBT Online Auction is a system that allows customers to bid on exhibition vehicles for themselves.
  2. The auction end time is set for the exhibition vehicle. Please bid within that period. (however, the period may be shortened: it may also be extended.)
  3. The lowest bid price has been set by our company for exhibition vehicle. If the amount does not reach, the bid will be invalid.
  4. Two types of bidding method are set in this auction.
    • Bid: 
      Auction(bidding not less than the indicated amount, the winning bid will be awarded to the person with the highest bid at the end date)
      (above-mentioned: incase our company's lowest bid amount has not been reached, bid is invalid)
    • Buy out: 
      It will be purchased immediately with the amount displayed.
  5. Bid displayed amount is the price of vehicle body only. Separately required amount is as follows.

    • Freight (It varies on the vehicle. Bid screen: Please confirm Additional Fee)

    • Protection program $27

    • Bid Fee $50

    • Transfer fee

  6. Please check the following items by customer itself before making a bid.

    • Vehicle Information

    • Vehicle Picture

    • Auction Sheet (Vehicle Chart：places of scratches, etc./Report column)

    • Bid amount

  7. For registered e-mail address, notification will be made in the following cases.

    • after completion of bid

    • When other customers update the bid price

    • when Auction ends

  8. CANCEL cannot be done after Bid／after successful Bid. Please bid at your own risk.

After the Auction ends

  1. After the Auction ends, the result will be reported to the registered e-mail address.
  2. After the Winning Bid：Winning Bid will be noticed by e-mail, please do procedure within 24 hours from e-mail.

    • If purchase procedure is not completed within 24 hours from e-mail, please note that the sucesscull bid right will be canceled.

  3. After completing the purchase procedure, we will contact you from the sales representative.
  4. Please pay within the due date specified by the company.
  5. Please comply with Auction Contract and use it.

Make Payment

Receive your Proforma Invoice. Receive your Proforma Invoice in your email and print it out.

Warning!

We strongly advise our customers to BEWARE OF FAKE EMAILS about the Payment.

Payment Payment is DUE within 5 working days after you receive Proforma Invoice.

Bank wire transfer (Telegraphic Transfer)

All customers should send money only to SBT CO., LTD. beneficiary accounts in Japan.
It will be shown in the proforma invoice, to which one of the following accounts, that you need to pay:

As soon as you complete your payment, please scan your confirmation receipt of payment and send its copy to us by email or fax:

We will not begin to process the shipping procedures until your payment is received. Full payment, based on the mutual agreement, must be made for you to receive your car.

3. Cancellation

In case if the full payment is not confirmed by the due date, your order will be cancelled and your partial payments (if any) will be refunded to you.

Track Your Shipment

  • You will receive the information about booking details of your shipment and other shipping information to your email.
  • Please login to your account page in SBT and confirm the date of Departure and Arrival for your shipment through “My Account” page on our website.
  • After we ship your car to your port, we will send All necessary original documents to you by DHL carrier.
  • Please be ready OR arrange to receive your car at your Port of Destination.
Important Documents - The documents you need to receive for your car:
Export Certificate: 
The original Export Certificate (Japanese)
English Export Certificate (translation is provided by SBT).
Customs Invoice: 
This document is for your local customs department to verify the value of your vehicle.
Bill of Lading (BOL): 
You need Bill of Lading (BL) receive your vehicle at the Port of Destination (POD).
Other documents may be required depending on your country's regulations. Please our sales representatives for additional documents when they are required.

Complete Customs Clearance

Please contact your local Customs office or clearing agent to make clearing procedures, and finally receive your car!

Beware of Websites, SNS, E-Mails and Invoices impersonating SBT

It is confirmed that there are websites, SNS, E-Mails and Invoices falsely using SBT’s name or names deceptively similar to SBT.
Please note that our company is not related to them at all.
